Mojave Audio MA-50BLK
The challenge? Create a transformerless microphone circuit without the inherent problems found in transformerless microphones. Technical Grammy® award winning microphone designer David Royer has created a thoroughly modern microphone that rises to that challenge: the new MA-50. Designed to produce the clarity and realism that Mojave microphones are known for – at an entry level price – the MA-50 out performs well-known transformerless mics costing many times more.
The MA-50BLK is the perfect microphone for pros and semi-pros alike. Utilizing the same single-sided capsule as the MA-200SN and MA-201VG, it handles the fastest transients with ease – even up to 140 dB.
Mojave Audio MA-37- Mojave’s take on the classic Sony C-37a
Retro. Futuristic. We are proud to introduce Technical Grammy Award Winner David Royer’s modern take on a legend – the Sony C-37a. Known for its high headroom and ability to tame brittle high end, it became a workhorse in the 60’s, especially during the golden age of Hollywood recording – the “Wrecking Crew’ era. Studios such as Capitol Records and Sunset Sound acquired multiples, which are still use today. From Leonard Bernstein and the Columbia Symphony Orchestra and VO legend Mel Blanc (the voice of over 400 characters, from Bugs Bunny to Barney Rubble) though producer Daniel Lanois (U2, Peter Gabriel) and current artists, such as Bon Iver, the C-37a remains a ‘secret weapon’ microphone for those in the know. David Royer, who has been a fan of the C-37a for thirty years, has long desired to o er his updated version to the Mojave family – and that time has come. He states, “Sony took a completely different approach than Neumann and AKG, which made the C-37a a completely different animal”.
Roswell Pro Audio Mini K67x expands the promise of "sonic diversity" by introducing a new sound to the Mini K product line. The capsule voicing strikes a balance between neutrality and flattery, with tight bass and an open top end. The circuit enhances the source with harmonics. The mic retains the "point and shoot" simplicity of the Mini K lineup.
Like all Roswell microphones, the Mini K67x is designed, assembled, and tested in California.
Roswell Pro Audio Delphos II is a premium studio condenser microphone, featuring unhyped and natural frequency response, very high sensitivity, and very low self-noise. It has 3 polar patterns (True Cardioid, Omni, Figure 8) and a switchable 10dB pad.
The Delphos II is an upgrade to the original Delphos, which helped establish Roswell as a source for no-compromise studio microphones -- devices that regularly compete with and best competitive models that cost three times as much, or more.
Royer Labs R-122V Vacuum Tube Ribbon Microphone
The R-122V is the pinnacle of our R-Series line, a world-class tube ribbon microphone exhibiting unparalleled richness, depth, and detail, particularly in the midrange frequencies. With a lushness that has to be heard to be truly appreciated, the R-122V offers the ultimate in ribbon microphone performance for those who insist on the very best.
Royer Labs R-121 Live Ribbon Microphone
The R-121 Live is a ruggedized version of the popular R-121 ribbon microphone. The studio R-121 is tough and has been used on the road for years, but the increased durability of the R-121 Live gives FOH engineers greater confidence in the ribbon standing up to the rigors of the road.
The R-121 Live’s output level is comparable to a dynamic mic, and it delivers the warm, realistic tone that only a ribbon mic can. Along with its smooth, natural response, the R-121 Live virtually eliminates the shrill high-end often associated with live guitars and brass. Push up the faders and there’s the instrument in all its fullness and natural glory, minus the peaky highs that FOH and Monitor engineers spend so much of their careers fighting.
Royer Labs R-122 MKII - Active Ribbon Microphone
In 2002 we introduced the R-122, the world’s first phantom powered, active ribbon™ microphone. It was a revolutionary development in ribbon mics, combining impedance matching circuitry with condenser-like output levels that allowed the R-122 to be used on even the quietest sound sources. It also allowed the mic to be paired to virtually any preamplifier.
The R-122 MKll takes the R-122 to a whole new level, delivering unprecedented flexibility for ribbons via the addition of a switchable -15 dB pad and a switchable bass-cut filter. The switches are completely out of the circuit when disengaged so when both are off, the microphone is for all purposes an original R-122. The switches are located on the back of the microphone and recessed to prevent accidental activation.

Roswell Pro Audio Colares • Boutique Vocal Condenser Microphone
The Colares is a large-body condenser microphone with a larger than life sound. It is our flagship vocal microphone, and excels at injecting color, vibe, excitement, and life to a track.
This is not a neutral or transparent microphone. It is unapologetically rich in both tone and harmonics. The design inspiration was the Telefunken ElaM 251, but our goal was to deliver all the detail and vintage tone of the 251 without the cost, maintenance hassle, or noise floor of a tube microphone.
The Colares has two unique features: a pad/voicing switch and a 3-way filter switch. Learn more about these in the Description tab below, on this page.
Royer SM-21 - AxeMount - Dual Microphone Mount for 57/R-121
Blending an R-121 ribbon with a dynamic mic is a legendary method for capturing electric guitars. The AxeMount microphone clip positions an R-121 right next to a 57-style dynamic mic, phase-aligned and ready to record, for the ultimate electric guitar microphone package. Making small position adjustments on a speaker or switching both mics to another cabinet is as easy as moving only one mic stand.
Roswell Audio Mini K47 captures the tone of a vintage microphone, with modern performance specifications.
"K47" refers to the capsule design. The capsule in this microphone is modeled after the one in the most famous microphone of all time. It provides a full, balanced tone without any harshness or hype in the upper frequencies. It will record less sibilance and fewer mouth sounds on your next vocal track. It will add weight and body to high strings and electric guitars. It will reduce the jangle in strummed acoustic tracks.
For this microphone, we chose a very clean and transparent circuit design. It lets the sound of the capsule pass through without alteration. Self-noise and distortion performance are on par with microphones costing significantly more. The circuit incorporates the best tricks we’ve learned from modifying and upgrading other companies’ products.
The new Pearlman TM-12A is built from the original AKG schematics. It has a CK12 capsule made by Tim Campbell in Denmark, a NOS 7586 Nuvistor tube, a wet tantalum capacitor, and a custom wound output transformer by Cinemag transformers. A Mogami cable with Neutrik ends, power supply, shock mount, and complimentary aluminum carrying case is always included with Pearlman Microphones. Gluten-free.
R-121 25th Anniversary Limited-Edition Distressed Rose
Yes, the R-121 is 25 years old this year! The R-121 25th Anniversary model celebrates the R-121’s legacy with a unique, limited edition “Distressed Rose” finish that gives a variety of looks, from a dark bourbon color in lower studio lighting and onstage to a rich rose color in brighter light. We would not, could not modify the classic R-121’s design and function, but this stunning finish is our way of letting everyone in on the 25th Anniversary party! There will be 500 R-121 Distressed Roses made, no more.
Released in 1998, the R-121 was the first radically different modern ribbon microphone, singlehandedly creating the great ribbon microphone resurgence that is still growing and going strong today. The R-121 is a staple on electric guitars around the world and is also one of the finest brass mics available, along with drum rooms, kick drums, piano, snare drum, acoustic guitar, violin, all percussion, harp, cello… the list goes on and on. When you want to record an instrument as naturally as possible, you reach for an R-121.

Chandler Limited TG Microphone - Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The Chandler Limited EMI Abbey Road Studios ‘TG Microphone’ is a solid-state large diaphragm condenser microphone. Continuing the rich tradition of innovation, the TG Microphone is unique in its feature-set and as the name implies, the sound is TG.
The TG Microphone’s unique on-board EMI ‘Tape Equalizer’ section combined with its ‘Dual Tone System’, dedicated PSU and other features create an extremely flexible microphone capable of rivaling scenarios where the FET47, C414, U87, and U47 traditionally have found favor.
The Tape Equalizer is adapted from the NAB/IEC tape equalizer facility found on vintage EMI TG mastering desks, and applied to great effect in the TG Microphone. Historically used to compensate for tapes played back on machines of the opposite standard, the repurposed tape equalizer allows the engineer to sculpt the sound at the source in lieu of external processing.
The microphones shaping possibilities are further expanded when the Tape Equalizer is combined with the selectable 90/50 Hz Low-Cut filter.

This cabinet is designed to match the Percolator 2 Watt Tube Amp, but sounds great with any small amp.
Zeppelin Design Labs The Percolator 2 Watt Tube Amp (valve amp) DIY KIT is perfect for electric guitar, cigar box guitar and harmonica. Ideal for bedroom, apartment, practice, studio, or stage. Unlike any other production guitar amp, it has an all-tube signal path that uses only one (NOS) Compactron tube (valve). The single volume knob allows for warm, rich, clear tones at lower levels and aggressive overdriven tones at higher levels — all at a moderate volume. The kit includes everything you need to build this low watt amp as shown. You can finish the cabinet any way you like, or mount the head into your own cab. See the “Documentation” tab below to download our colorful, detailed manuals and videos. They provide clear, step-by-step instruction on how to build your very own Percolator tube amp!
