An I/O Swiss army knife with, Envelope follower, Gate and Trigger outputs.
Have fun and get creative by:
• Triggering effects and modulation chains based on a vocal.
• Set up some side chain ducking with a VCA running off the inverse envelope.
• Patch the envelope and gate through the ER-Patch 16/32 and then have the trigger switch scenes to route the envelope and gate to different sections of your system to do endless variations as the vocal progresses.

Add the output to the mix and have it hit different sections while also routing the line output to external rack gear.
