The B22 ORCA utilizes the same analog, all-discrete circuit path philosophy as other BURL Audio products with an emphasis on the ultimate in sonic transparency and 3D stereo imaging. Featuring the BURL NextGen BOPA14 op-amps, the B22 delivers tight bass and high definition throughout the audio spectrum. The B22 ORCA employs 4 DAC channels. The first two are mix/mastering grade DAC channels with switchable BX5 output transformers. The second two DAC channels feed the main monitor section which features two stereo speaker outputs and one stereo headphone output. Burl Audio BMB1 DIGILINK MOTHERBOARD
The BMB1 Motherboard for B80 & B16 Mothership chassis comes standard with two DigiLink connectors for direct hookup to Avid Pro Tools. BURL AUDIO does away with the expansion port, making both primary ports. That means you can play 64 ADC or DAC channels straight out of Pro Tools with one unit!  With 6 BAD8s and 4 BDA8s a 48×32 IO can be achieved.  With 2 BAD8s and 8 BDA8s a 16×64 IO can be achieved.  With the configurability of the MOTHERHSHIP the IO possibilities are limitless.

The BMB2 Motherboard for B80 & B16 Chassis features two optical MADI ports for use with ASIO (Windows) or CORE AUDIO (Mac) PCIe MADI cards. With two optical ports, 64in/64out at 44.1k, 48k, 88.2k, 96k, and 32in/32out at 176.4k, and 192k are supported. Burl Audio BAD8 is an 8-channel analog-to-digital daughter card for the B80 Mothership and B16 Mothership is the result of over 25 years of R&D A/D design experience. Following on the overwhelming success of the B2 BOMBER ADC and the BAD4, the BAD8 employs a next generation analog circuit path and the latest in analog to digital conversion. This is a no compromise design utilizing all class-A, discrete transistor circuitry and the legendary BX1 transformer coupled input. The BAD8 benefits from the new form factor of the BX1 transformer, allowing for more channel density. The BAD8 also boasts the latest analog-to-digital conversion technology giving it great tone with even greater detail and amazing low latency.

BURL Audio BMB4 features an Ethernet port for 64 IO channels of Waves SoundGrid connectivity.  SoundGrid is an Audio-over-Ethernet networking and processing technology developed by Waves. SoundGrid provides extremely low-latency, high-channel-count audio processing using standard Intel CPUs and 1 Gbps Ethernet networks for studio, live sound, and other real-time professional audio applications.

The BMB4 motherboard is provided as desired, to be specified when ordering a B16 & B80 Mothership chassis, like  any of all the other available motherboards (BMB1, BMB2, BMB3, BMB5 and BMB6). The price is only for those who would like to order an additional motherboard.

Introducing the B1 and B1D Microphone Pre Amps from Burl Audio. Based on the API 500 series form factor, the B1 was designed to compliment the B2 Bomber ADC, and give you multi-channel pleasure. With the proprietary BX3 input transformer and BX2 output transformer, the B1 Mic Pre delivers warmth with depth and clarity.

The B1D is the same as the B1 except that it has an all iron BX4 output transformer giving it a more terrifying rock tone. An all discrete transistor, class-A, direct coupled, capacitor free circuit path, gives the B1 amazing punch on drums, beautiful tonality on guitars, and warmth with presence on vocals.
