Lindell Audio 18Xs MKII is a one channel transformer coupled Microphone Preamplifier, DI, Line Amplifier and Passive Pultec Equalizer. It’s an Class A design based upon our Hybrid amplifiers. (It can be upgraded with our Vintage OPA)
The Equalizer is our take on the magical classic Pultec design. It’s got 15db boost of the creamiest high end you’ve ever heard and the most punchy low end heard the 21th Century.
We have also incorporated our famous ”Mix Knob” from the 17X compressor. This means that you can parallel equalize your line input. This gives you more flexibility and a way of creating new tones….
Cranborne Audio Camden EC1 combines the multi award winning Camden preamp technology with a reference-grade headphone amplifier to elevate your audio interface’s front-end to a professional level.
Award Winning Pedigree
Camden EC1 introduces one of the cleanest and most transparent preamps on the market into a standalone, desktop-friendly chassis that can integrate with any audio interface.
Designed to compete with the very best, the Camden preamp itself achieves unprecedented low-noise and low-distortion performance as well as frequency and phase linearity at all gain settings.
Capture your source with complete transparency; boost low-sensitivity microphones without adding noise and colouration; and capture instant and coherent transients without phase shift that cause summing abnormalities. Camden EC1 exhibits performance specifications that exceed the most revered ‘transparent’ preamps on the market.
It’s 12-way rotary Gain switch enables easy recallability of preamp gain whilst it’s dedicated mic, line, and hi-z input modes allows Camden EC1 to not only become your go-to mic preamp, but also a line-level saturator and instrument DI thanks to dedicated ¼” jack Link outputs for each channel.
Vintage Persona
Using it’s Mojo analogue saturation control, Camden EC1’s transforms from extraordinarily clean, natural, and precise sounding, into thick, gooey, and vintage-sounding at the turn of a dial.
With two discrete Mojo styles; Thump and Cream, Camden EC1 can perfectly imitate vintage transformer or valve-based preamps at the turn of a dial.
Mojo’s saturation is completely variable, allowing you to dial-in the amount of saturation you need for each source. Keep it at 3-4 for authentic preamp saturation or crank it up to 11 for a more exaggerated effect!
Perhaps most crucially and unlike transformer-based preamps, when you need something clean and transparent for a particular session/source, Mojo can be completely bypassed and removed from the signal using the pots’ built-in, true-bypass switch to reveal the true clarity of the Camden preamp design.
Record through Mojo to apply instant analogue colouration during tracking or send line-level sources through the Mojo to add vintage colouration to your DAW tracks or stereo bus during the mix phase.
Advanced Tracking And Reamping Tool
The Camden EC1’s reference-quality headphone amplifier and independent, 4ch line mixer allows for direct, zero-latency monitoring of the Camden preamp using headphones connected directly to Camden EC1’s front panel. Monitor the preamp directly using headphones during mic placement to find the sweet spot of the instrument/source, or create a zero-latency, analogue headphone mix by mixing the preamp with external playback from dedicated Stereo Aux and Mono Ext Line Inputs.
Camden EC1 features an extraordinary Hi-Z instrument D.I. circuit with a dedicated ¼” jack Link output - the combination makes Camden EC1 the perfect tool for reamping bass and electric guitars on studio or stage. Simply connect your instrument to its Hi-Z input for unparalleled DI performance, and connect the ¼” Link output of the preamp to your amplifier/effects pedals for wet/dry recording and reamping.
C.A.S.T. Enabled
Camden EC1 also utilises Cranborne Audio’s unique C.A.S.T. system for distributing audio around the studio or stage using affordable Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7 cabling whilst achieving the highest sonic results.
Connect Camden EC1’s C.A.S.T. OUT port to Cranborne Audio’s 500R8 or 500ADAT, and you can send Camden EC1’s preamp directly to the interface's input ready for further processing and recording. At the same time through the same cable, 500R8/500ADAT transmit their built-in monitor mix directly to Camden EC1’s headphone mixer for monitoring.
This allows 500R8/500ADAT users to relocate their Camden EC1’s preamp and headphone amplifier into the live room using a single Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7 cable whilst freeing-up 500 series slots in 500R8/500ADAT for more EQ and Compressor modules and extra processing before hitting 500R8/500ADAT’s converters.
Meticulously Designed and Engineered In The UK
With an abundance of I/O available, Camden EC1 facilitates the maximum amount of flexibility with all 3rd party audio interfaces and recorders by including dedicated XLR outputs, Impedance balanced 1/4” jack outputs with 10dB PAD, and a Link output when using Camden EC1 as a DI.
Camden EC1 is another Cranborne Audio product engineered and designed under the team’s watchful eyes. Camden EC1 features elite audio specifications and application-based features that defies its price tag and is accessible for professional, project, and home studio engineers.

Chandler Limited REDD 47 - Tube PreAmp
Chandler Limited’s REDD.47 microphone pre-amplifier is a recreation of the original valve line amplifiers used in Abbey Road Studios’ heralded and rare EMI REDD.51 recording consoles circa 1959-1968.
Designed as a central component to the EMI REDD.51 recording console, the original REDD.47 line amplifier was used to amplify virtually every stage of the audio path (mic inputs, line inputs, echo sends and monitors).
The REDD.47 lent its unmistakably punchy, aggressive character to music recorded at Abbey Road Studios between 1964 and 1968, including many tracks by The Beatles.
The Chandler Limited REDD.47 pre-amp offers many additional benefits to the original design including increased gain, allowing a range of tonal options from pristine clean sound to classic rich, saturated tone with up to 2% harmonic distortion before clipping. The Chandler Limited REDD.47 pre-amp easily reproduces the distortions heard on The Beatles’ ‘Revolution.’
Chandler Limited’s REDD.47 tube microphone pre-amplifier delivers the legendary sound of Abbey Road Studios’ ‘Holy Grail’ pre-amp, with extra features to meet today’s recording studio standards.
Purple Audio PANTS is a four op-amp, differential mic preamp. Designed to work in standard “500″ racks.
The Pants uses a unique dual-bobbin input transformer from Cinemag unlike any other. The smooth Gain control helps you dial in the sound you want. If the output level is too high, you can ride the level down with the separate Level control. Pressing the “High” switch changes the feedback network to provide an insane 78dB of clean gain, a great match for very low output mics.
With different Gain, High mode switch, and Level settings the Pants can produce many different tones with the same amount of output level. The front panel DI goes through a FET buffer into the input transformer, adding an extra dimension to the sound of the preamp.
Chandler Limited Little Devil Preamp
The Little Devil Pre Amp might be the best piece of Chandler gear yet! Several things make it so special.
The class A gain stage sounds like no other design we've done. It's big, yet open and full of life. Just about any parameter of the sound is changeable including the ability to change both the Feedback and Bias of the amplifier. The Feedback control increases harmonics thousands of times over the range of the control. The nature of clipping and distortion also changes and ranges from soft Class A clipping to super soft gushy tube type. The sounds range from a very colored and "overbiased" tone to a gently colored and "in your face" tone.

GC Audio – Gyraf Audio GY 4.5 Inherit Cartridge
GC Audio is proud to introduce a new preamp that extends the GC Audio cartridges family - based on a, now classic, design by Jakob Erland, founder of Gyraf Audio and designer of many high-end studio gears like the G9 preamplifier or the G22 compressor.
Jakob Erland is universally recognized as one of the leading experts in tube hardware design. He is also very popular in the DIY community where he provides free help. The GY 4.5 Inherit cartridge is, as its name implies, a single channel of the famous Gyraf Audio Gyratec 9 preamp. Faithful to the original in every detail.
GC Audio GY 4.5 is a genuine tube preamplifier: Coming with two ECC82 running on high voltage, no solidstate component in the signal path, input/output balanced by high-end Lundahl transformers. The goal with this design is to achieve everything from a completely clean to a possibly very colorful sound imprint. All under the total control of the user. The most important aspect of this circuit is its very slow transition to overload - it has a sweet spot that seems to last for ages.
We recommend it e.g. for vocals, where by raising gain and lowering output volume, you can get a nice dense analog saturation without overloading your converters. This cartridge is a real creative tool.

CHANDLER LIMITED TG12411 Channel - TG Channel MKII Channel Strip
The Chandler Limited TG12411 channel, formerly known as the TG Channel MKII, is a recreation of several classic circuits - combining Wade Goeke's design of the TG2 pre amp section with an equalizer that was redesigned from a circuit used in the TG12410 Transfer Console, the mastering counterpart to the original "Beatles desks."
The active portions of the unit use the same discrete amplifiers and transformers as in the TG1 Limiter and TG2 pre amp. The TG12411's passive equalizer EQ is an all inductor design offering sweet high frequencies, large inductor based lows, and a very high "Q" mid cut section. Its sound is very comparable to Pultec and Lang program EQs. A simple description would be a TG Pultec with a TG pre amp thrown in.
All TG units require and function on the PSU-1, Chandler Limited power supply. The PSU-1 has an internal switch for setting voltage to 120V or 220V (115V/230V). For more information please call us at (319) 885-4200.
NOTE: As of late 2016, the TG Channel MKII was renamed the TG12411; there has been no modification to the MKII circuit.

Henry Engineering TALENTPOD II MIC & HEADPHONE CONTROLLER
Doing any remote broadcast is a lot of work. Doing a sports remote with multiple announcers can be a real hassle! You need to provide headphones for each announcer. AND you need to mix Return (IFB or “back-haul”) into the local headphone feed. AND each announcer wants a different mix…OR “can you put the IFB in my right ear only?”….OR some announcers don’t want to hear IFB at all….OR they want more volume… OR less volume! WHAT A HEADACHE… You end up with a maze of equipment and a rat’s nest of wiring!
TALENT POD II to the rescue! It’s the EASY and foolproof way to do remote broadcasts!
With Talent Pod iis, each announcer can control his own mic and headphones. Need to mix Local and Return audio into headphones? Need a different mix for each announcer? Need to give off-air cues to just the “color guy”? No problem! Talent Pod II does it all, without DAs and complicated wiring!

There is an overwhelming number of 500 Series mic preamps to choose from, many of which are clones or copies of vintage units. So, as a breath of fresh air, we present the Elixir preamp module that stands apart from that crowd. By using our own True Class A amplifiers and Swedish Lundahl output transformers, we've produced a warm sweet liquid sound quality that is unique and a useful compliment in your rack to other "harder" sounding 500 Series preamps. The Buzz Audio Elixir has a fast transient response so it is ideal for stringed instruments and percussion - a superb choice for snare drum and acoustic guitars. And as with all our preamps the noise level is as low as possible and there is plenty of gain for ribbon microphones. The instrument jack input has a very special "bootstrap" amplifier design and really does sound huge on bass guitar.
VSP-2 Dual Mic Preamp 1976
The VSP-2 is VERTIGO SOUNDs 3rd BIG IMPACT DESIGN and is setting a new benchmark in microphone amplification.
The heart of this unit is Vertigo Sound 100% discrete Twin Op Amp circuit called the OPA (operational amplifier) 1976.
These "in house" engineered & built discrete amplifier stage is combined with Jensens world famous JT-16 Mic transformers and provide a smooth warm and defined sound from the lowest bass to the very top end of the sonic spectrum. The JT-16 transformer can handle very high input levels and provides a very linear phase behaviour because of low capacitance problems due to it`s low ratio of 1:2. Further the low ratio of the transformer forces the discrete OP Amp to provide most of the amplification in the VSP-2. This " full throttle","pedal to the floor" circuitry enables a unique, rich, full and characterful sound.
Traverse Analogue 652 stereo vacuum tube preamplifier with mic/line-level inputs
Using the GAIN control, the engineer can achieve 5 - 60 dB of gain from the uniquely-biased tube input stage, followed by a MASTER attenuation control in the output buffer stage. Want a clean yet musical replication of the source? How about the creamy saturation of an esoteric vintage preamplifier?
The 652's gentle drive characteristics allows for a broad tonal palette depending on how hard you hit it with signal. It is designed to interface with all types of microphones (including ribbons), and the line-level input pad allows you to add analogue warmth to any track from a digital audio workstation; making it an indispensable tool for adding colouration and harmonic distortion!

Chandler Limited TG2 - Two Channel Mic Preamp/DI
The Chandler Limited TG2 is a recreation of the rare EMI TG12428 pre amp used in EMI/Abbey Road recording and mastering consoles used in the late 60's and early 70's. The sound was used on many famous recordings done at Abbey Road including The Beatles "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon." The amplifiers were also used in many EMI circuits of the time. Our version was remade from original design notes and circuit board drawings, provided by Abbey Road and EMI to ensure extreme authenticity!
This Mic Pre features the same discrete transformer balanced amplifiers as the TG series limiter and offers a creamy, smooth tone with a surprisingly open, clear top end (dare we say nicer than Neve....) The sound, as explained by many users, has the Neve "warmth" and punch, but with a "nicer" expanded top end. In fact the unit does have a small rise in its top end frequency response and some warmth inducing distortion which contribute to its sound.
