Coil Audio CA-70 Modular Microphone / Line Tube Amplifier
The CA-70 preamplifier module pays homage to the classic American two-stage circuit invented by Western Electric in 1913 and manufactured by multiple companys from the 1930's through the 1950's – most notably RCA, Gates, and Langevin. This old octal tube circuit has a huge thick tone and is what many consider to be the quintessential “ old tube preamp ” sound.

The CA-70 preamp module uses Coil Audio's CT-110 or CT-110HN (by default) input and CT-41 output transformers, high quality capacitors, resistors, and NOS octal tubes. It's powered by Coil Audio PS6 Rack Tray and Power Supply.

H2 Audio 0011 Mic Pre and 3-Band EQ
The original channel module from so many iconic studio recordings of the past. This module with a proprietary format features the original Helios 2128 preamp circuit with 70dB of gain in 5dB increments. 20dB pad, Lustaphone M10 input transformer. A balanced line in section is also featured. Inductor based LF/MF EQ section with selectable LF and MF and fixed 10Khz HF controls. Also included: Phase control, EQ bypass and selectable High Pass filter with original 40hz and 80hz filter points. The H2 Audio 0011 has an added output amplifier with output transformer, all of original Helios design, allowing the H2 Audio 0011 to drive a 600 ohm load up to 25dB before clipping (owners of classic Helios modules will agree that this was a major issue when trying to use a classic Helios in a custom rack). 48V phantom power is supplied by switch on the H2 Audio 8 channel rack.

The 0011 is not 500 Series module and should be powered with its dedicated 002 or 008 slots rack.

UnderTone Audio MPEQ-1 the amalgamation of the UTA EQ and the custom mic pre of the MPDI-4. It features the same flexible and musical Class A discrete circuitry, the uniquely powerful HP/LP filters, and an exciting new approach to a Class A mic pre.

You can use the equalizer and the mic pre separately or as a complete channel strip. The mic pre has a custom input transformer and a carefully chosen output transformer. Both are optimized to accentuate the most flattering sonic qualities inherent in audio transformers.

The unique mic pre design makes both of these transformers bypass-able. This offers users a choice between the detailed clarity of a Class-A transformer-less design or the vintage musicality of a dual transformer mic preamp.

Lindell Audio 18Xs MKII is a one channel transformer coupled Microphone Preamplifier, DI, Line Amplifier and Passive Pultec Equalizer. It’s an Class A design based upon our Hybrid amplifiers. (It can be upgraded with our Vintage OPA)

The Equalizer is our take on the magical classic Pultec design. It’s got 15db boost of the creamiest high end you’ve ever heard and the most punchy low end heard the 21th Century.

We have also incorporated our famous ”Mix Knob” from the 17X compressor. This means that you can parallel equalize your line input. This gives you more flexibility and a way of creating new tones….

CHANDLER LIMITED TG12411 Channel - TG Channel MKII Channel Strip
The Chandler Limited TG12411 channel, formerly known as the TG Channel MKII, is a recreation of several classic circuits - combining Wade Goeke's design of the TG2 pre amp section with an equalizer that was redesigned from a circuit used in the TG12410 Transfer Console, the mastering counterpart to the original "Beatles desks."

The active portions of the unit use the same discrete amplifiers and transformers as in the TG1 Limiter and TG2 pre amp. The TG12411's passive equalizer EQ is an all inductor design offering sweet high frequencies, large inductor based lows, and a very high "Q" mid cut section. Its sound is very comparable to Pultec and Lang program EQs. A simple description would be a TG Pultec with a TG pre amp thrown in.

All TG units require and function on the PSU-1, Chandler Limited power supply. The PSU-1 has an internal switch for setting voltage to 120V or 220V (115V/230V). For more information please call us at (319) 885-4200.

The CA-286 preamp module is a tribute to the classic 1950’s and 60’s European two-stage amplifier made popular by Telefunken™, Langevin™, Collins™, and Gates™. The CA-286 excels in high fidelity recording applications providing the rich, detailed midrange often associated with vintage EF86 tube based preamps.

The CA-286 preamp module uses Coil Audio's CT-110 (optional) or CT-110HN (by default) and CT-41 output transformers, high quality capacitors, resistors, and NOS octal tubes and is powered by our PS6 Rack Tray and Power Supply, sold separately.
